With the latest social distancing mandates in effect, anxiety levels are high and people are understandably concerned about how to not only stay healthy and safe from the corona virus (COVID-19), but also how to manage their anxiety. As President Trump stated in one of his press conferences (see Telehealth in Fight Against Coronavirus) , Telehealth will be an important way for people to access the services they need and stay safe from catching and spreading the virus.
I have been doing several Telehealth therapy sessions a week for the past few years. I am Board Certified in
Telemental Health and use HIPAA compliant, easy to use video platforms. All you need to do is click on the link I send you and voila! there I am.
With just about everyone working remotely from home, school children home schooling, and college students home indefinitely, some folks are being very creative in finding private spaces to talk. For some, it’s their dining room, bedroom, basement, home office, and…their car parked in the driveway. I myself have sat in the driveway in my car for emergency consults when my home is full of guests. It is very private and surprisingly comfortable. Now with my Hillsborough office (which is located on the same property as my home), I am able to sit in my office as I normally do for in person sessions and conduct telehealth sessions.
If you would like to book an appointment with me, click on the Book Now button you see on this page (to the right below the photo of myself and my dog as well as above at top left), or to learn more about Telehealth, read my blog here: https://drmarionrollings.com/coronavirus-and-your-therapy-session-teletherapy-is-an-option/ and feel free to call or text (908-500-7295) or email me (DrMarion@DrMarionRollings.com).
We will all get through this and using cutting edge technology now is the best way to access mental health care from the comfort and safety of your home.
